Our Story
Georgia Lawn and Landscape, originally McMillian Lawn Care, was started in 2016 as a part time job to provide extra income to cover some medical bills for Josh’s four month old daughter. The business quickly grew and became something Josh decided to continue after his daughters medical bills were paid. The business is now his way of allowing his wife to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a stay at home mom. He continues to work hard, grow his company, and provide a superior service to his clients.
About The Owner
Josh McMillian grew up on a small farm and has always had a love for the outdoors. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Agribusiness. He also went on to get his Masters in Plant Protection and Pest Management. Upon graduation, Josh worked in agricultural sales for six years. He soon realized that his love for agriculture translated over to the lawn care and landscape industry.
Josh is married to his wife Carmen and have two wonderful children, Gabriel and Adelyn. His wife and kids are the driving force behind the business and are very supportive. Josh hopes to make this a family business that his wife and kids will one day be involved with.
